How to help
Get involved in STEM Harvest
MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN
There are a number of ways you can help STEM Harvest and children in the commuity
Volunteering
An undertaking like STEM Harvest requires volunteers and a community to help it succeed. If you have extra time or resources, you can lend a hand. And no, you don’t even need to be a technology wizard to do so!
Get the word out
No amount of advertising beats word of mouth. You can help the cause by simply talking about what we are doing and why you think it is important so others get excited. Tell your friends with children, tell a co-worker, or even tell your grandkids.
Donate
Donations help ensure STEM Harvest is free and available to all. STEM Harvest is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization so you may be able to claim a deduction on your federal taxes. We are also listed on the Kansas Charitable Organization registry.
Business Sponsor
If your business would like to help out, we’d love to chat with you. Business sponsors may also receive recognition throughout the year including acknowledge during events and logos on venue TVs, literature, kids’ t-shirts, etc.
Kroger Community Rewards
If you are a Dillon’s or Kroger shopper, you can specify STEM Harvest as your charitable organization and we receive a small portion of your gas and grocery purchases. Once again, at no additional cost to you!

We are on Guidestar!
Guidestar provides insight into STEM Harvest so you better understand the organization you are supporting! GuideStar is a philanthropic research database designed to fill in the knowledge gaps in order to find the best charities to support in the area you care about most. GuideStar compiles directories and reports on nonprofits to make the donation process easier for potential donors. Some third-party websites only provide a platform for charities while others only compile data; GuideStar manages to do both. GuideStar gives non-profits a comprehensive platform to display their cause. This allows everyone to access the key figures that help in making the decision on which nonprofits to support.
